This policy/law goes for receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages, too. The signature of a sober adult (a person of 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated) will be required for you to receive your goods. Wines purchased from Ball Square Fine Wines are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
Just as we want to keep you safe and secure, we need you to respect our space. Everything on this website (e.g. the design and layout of the site, pictures, video, and text content, et. al. used) is either owned by or licensed to us. So yes, it’s for our use and our use only. Reproduction is prohibited. Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
We do our best to keep everything on this website up to date. But, we’re only human; content, pricing, policies and the like are subject to change without advance notice. As such and by using this site, you give up the right to hold Ball Square Fine Wines liable for any inaccuracies or errors you may find herein.
Ball Square Fine Wines online customers will receive an automatically generated notification via email (assuming a valid email address is provided). This notice clarifies that we have received your request, but will NOT PROCESS your order NOR CHARGE your credit card until we are able to verify availability and pricing. If there is a problem, we will contact you before proceeding. If the items are in stock at the listed price, we will process your order and charge your card accordingly.
Note: Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed. We ask that the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept the return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that was ordered in error. Please send an email to Dan Lech to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.
Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund including shipping and handling charges. Please contact the shop at 617-623-9500 for return instructions.
A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.
Email discounts/promotions are exclusive to online sales/orders placed via our website, unless otherwise specified. Multiple coupon codes, discounts or promotions cannot be combined. Sorry, only one eligible discount is applied per order! Spirits, Champagne, ‘Cult Wines’, Fine/Rare Wine, Wine Futures, Sale Items, Special Events or Classes/Seminars and Gift Certificates are NOT ELIGIBLE for discounts unless otherwise specified. All orders are subject to in-stock and accurate pricing verification. We reserve the right to adjust orders that are not eligible for discount.
