Does your shop offer discounts?

For purchases exceeding 12 or more bottles of wine in our inventory (mixed or matched), we offer a 10% discount. For special orders of a wine we do not normally stock, a solid case purchase (12 bottles) of one particular wine may be eligible for a 20% discount. In addition, certain items (wine, liquor, spirits, etc.) may be offered at a discounted price throughout the year. Wine Club members can also take advantage of discounts on select items every month.

Can I subscribe to your e-newsletter without joining your Wine Club, or vice versa?

Absolutely! You are free to subscribe to either, but there is no charge to participate in our Club and enjoy in-store purchase tracking as well as monthly wine discounts. Email us if you have questions or need us to fine-tune your registration.

I’ve moved away from the area. Can I still use your Wine Club?

If you have moved out of state and wish to continue your membership to keep abreast of our wine club specials you are welcome to do so. However, it is illegal for us to ship wines out of state so you will have to pop in for a visit to take advantage of any discounts.

Do you offer private at home or corporate wine tastings?

We are happy to supply and deliver wines (and other necessities) for any upcoming event. If your event also requires knowledgeable staff support to plan and host the event, contact our partner Pour Favor.

Do you have kegs?

All kegs are special ordered as needed. Review our complete list of kegs available via our Services page and then contact our Beer Manager to place your order. Note: Please allow 3-5 business days.

Do you special order items you don’t normally stock?

Definitely. The wonderful world of libations is certainly larger than our fine shop can carry! We are happy to special order anything we don’t normally stock that is available to retailers in our market. Learn about our special order service here.

Does Ball Square Fine Wines donate to charity events?

We believe it is important to support as many community events as we can each calendar year. However, because we are still a small retail shop we have to evaluate every inquiry to determine whether or not we can particpiate. Please submit your request here!

Can Ball Square Fine Wines ship wines out of state?

Unfortunately the current liquor laws in Massachusetts prevent us from shipping to customers (or their friends) out of state. If/when this changes, we will certainly consider doing so.

How come Ball Square Fine Wines can only ship wine, not beer and spirits, too?

Unfortunately the liquor business is a highly regulated one and various shipping companies have strict regulations accordingly. We can't say why only wine gets the nod, but it's a fact! We are only able to ship wine. If you wish to order beer and spirits on-line, you are welcome to do so. We can deliver them or set them aside for you to pick up at the shop.
