Modeled after a Northern Rhone red, Wolftrap blends red grapes (Syrah, Mourvedre) with a dollop of white (Viognier). The latter serves to "lift" the aroma and add an exotic floral element. This wine is all red in flavor though, with black fruits and South African earth. Surprisingly complex and flavorful for an under $12 red.
