Ball Square Wines has been operating from Ball Square, Somerville since the summer of 2001. Upon obtaining this new space, seasoned retailer Chris Lianos had complete renovations made to both the interior and exterior of the store. The entire appearance and concept of the store has a new focus. It has developed into an open and inviting atmosphere, continuously dedicated to accomodating each customer's preferences. It is the vision of the store to pursue the finest quality wines and be personally available to help advise our clientele on how to make the best decisions according to their needs.
Ball Square Fine Wines is comitted to the search for obtaining and maintaining an extensive selection of fine wines. By making ourselves aware of the constant changes in environmental, cultural and business trends of the wine industry, we hope to provide the expertise our clients have come to expect from us. It is our goal to be up close and personal with as much of the selections on our shelf as possible. We taste and evaluate as many wines as we are able to ensure standards of quality both from the producers with generations of winemaking experience and those who are new on the scene.
We invite you in to experience our efforts. Allow us to introduce you to many exciting and new wines either with a browse about our store or through one of our wine tasting sessions. We carry exotic flavors from all over the world that will satisfy many a palate. While we strive to have the wine to suit all occations, we realize that it is impossible to carry all of them. We are happy to special order any wine for our clients, and if it is within our ability to acquire it, we will. You are sure to find the wine you are craving.
