Granger Beaujolais-Village "Le Bouteau" 2009 Pascal Granger is a fine craftsman of the Gamay grape (you know he's all that if he's in Neal Rosenthal's stable of goodies). His single village Beaujolais are world class wines and this old vine cuvee "Le Bouteau" from said villages is a statement in and of itself. Classic crushed cherries and dusty underpinnings add up to a wine of simple pleasure with subtle depths. A Thanksgiving natural!
